So many people have asked me questions after reading and/or hearing about my book The God of All Comfort. Yes certainly about Jeffrey (our remaining son with cerebral palsy), but also people seem shocked that I used to get in so much trouble back in my early years, but now I appear so “normal.” Huh, me?
That’s why I had a friend help me start this page. Yes I want people to know about my book because God has done such a great work in me and my life, but more importantly I want people to know that regardless of how many mess-ups you feel you’ve made in your life, God LOVES you and has great plans for YOUR life too!
Ephesians 3:16-19: “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge…” (NIV, emphasis mine).
I hope and pray that people will feel encouraged as I continue to share what God has done in my life. I will be sharing stories of others who have struggled, as well, and I will be sharing how those struggles have been turned into victories for Jesus.
